Head of SYRIZA of Glyfada Municipality and town councilor Mr. Tastanis expressed his disapproval of the “Athens Ombudsman” institution, by noting that it constitutes an attempt to distract the simple citizen from the immense problems that ultimately burden them; he simultaneously underlined that this protects only in appearance the inflicted citizen against the possible arbitrations of the municipal authorities, without in fact the slightest possibility of solving these problems. 

The Athens Ombudsman institution is provided by the ‘Kallikratis’ project and intends on accepting complaints of directly affected citizens and businesses on account of maladministration by the municipality services, its legal entities and businesses, as well as the intermediation for the resolution of relevant problems via a written or online response to the interested parties within three days.
