As you can see, the NEWLAW platform is available in English in addition to Greek. We want to make it easier for expatriate Greeks who want to resolve their legal issues in Greece, as well as all citizens of third countries who know English and have cases in Greece.

According to the Lawyers' Code, the provision of free legal services is not permitted. However, on a case-by-case basis, when you call us by phone or visit our office (Tsimiski 10, Thessaloniki), we provide a free initial brief legal information session, especially in cases of indigent individuals or people belonging to vulnerable social groups (e.g., long-term unemployed citizens, large families, etc.). However, the general rule is that all our legal advisory services are provided on an hourly charge basis. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that our charges are as economical as possible, since the platform saves significant time for both you and the lawyers of our firm. The process is very simple. First, register, or if you are already a member, log in to the NEWLAW platform, select your case, fill in the questions we provide, and attach the supporting documents. Very good!

Now you are on the "Payment" tab. First, choose whether you want a receipt or an invoice. Then, fill in your details and then select your preferred payment method (card, PayPal, or bank transfer) as well as the number of installments that suits you best. Below, see the detailed total cost (subtotal and VAT), click on the "I accept the Terms" box, and then click on the "Continue" box. As you can see, the NEWLAW platform connects you directly to the Piraeus Bank payment form. This means that our law firm NEWLAW does not come into contact with financial data. On the Piraeus form, see the amount again, fill in your details and click "Pay". The transaction is complete! "NEWLAW" will appear as the transaction description on your card's monthly statement.

NEWLAW is a legitimate law firm that operates and is taxed, like any other law firm in Greece, for the legal services it offers, whether traditionally or electronically. The same applies to all services or products provided electronically today.

For any amount you pay us electronically through the Piraeus Bank system (www.winbank.gr), a relevant receipt is issued and sent to you electronically. It is noted that the electronic payment system of Piraeus Bank can be used by any holder of a valid debit or credit card issued by any legal bank in Greece or abroad. Therefore, anyone with a Visa or MasterCard can use the electronic payment system of Piraeus Bank.

Security of Your Personal Data

Indicatively, we mention that the NEWLAW platform operates with the highest SSL (SSL Extended Validation), i.e., a security protocol for the transmission of sensitive data on the internet used by banks, security organizations, and multinational companies.

Security of Your Transactions

All online transactions of NEWLAW users are carried out by linking to the e-banking system of Piraeus Bank (www.winbank.gr), which has received international awards and has the highest security standards. Therefore, we do not keep, process, or know any financial data. Thus, indicatively, the card number, the cardholder's name, the expiration date, etc., are only disclosed to the Bank, and NEWLAW does not come into contact with them at all. Alternatively, you can also pay via the internationally recognized payment system PayPal or more traditionally by bank transfer.

The NEWLAW platform belongs to the Greek law firm NEWLAW, based in the center of Thessaloniki (Tsimiski 10, tel. 2310 551 501, 2310 261 501, 2310 261 502). This fact is also confirmed by internet browsers, which, when you click on www.newlaw.gr, display "Tsilonis-Vogiadzoglou Law Firm NEWLAW" as you can see in the image:

Therefore, NEWLAW is a valid and certified platform that operates with absolute transparency, since every user immediately knows who its owners are and where the company is located. Beyond the personal contact you have with us, as a NEWLAW user, you can monitor the progress of your case online at any time through your personal profile from any device you wish (computer, tablet, or mobile).

Specifically, through your profile you can see the submissions, the trial date, the court list, information regarding the hearing, the discussion of your case in court, and the court decision.

The legal services currently available on the NEWLAW platform already cover a wide range of cases (consensual divorce, payment orders, lease agreements, lawsuits, private agreements of all kinds, etc.), however, the platform is constantly expanding according to the needs and desires of clients-businesses. However, it is worth emphasizing that there are also several other cases in which our law firm specializes but are not currently included on the platform, such as, for example, the establishment of a public limited company (which is of course done in collaboration with a notary) or cases of over-indebted households (Law 3869/2010 – "Katseli Law"), for which we have numerous published winning decisions in the largest electronic database of NOMOS. It is worth noting that NOMOS is the database consulted daily by the vast majority of legal professionals in our country (prosecutors, judges, and lawyers).

Then you click on the case that concerns you (e.g., consensual divorce, residential lease, payment order, etc.). You see the price and the required supporting documents in detail and click "Create".

C. You Answer Questions, Attach Supporting Documents, and pay online.

D. Completion of Work - Creation and Approval of Legal Text

We draft the legal document concerning your case (pleading, private agreement, etc.) and within 2 working days we deliver it to you electronically for you to read and approve.

Until 2013, according to the Lawyers' Code, there were legal difficulties for a citizen to have exclusively the same lawyer for their cases throughout Greece (with the exception of criminal cases). However, in 2013, the Lawyers' Code changed radically, and now it is permitted for a citizen to be legally represented for all their cases in Greece by one lawyer/law firm, regardless of where they are based in our country.
