Arrested Again Within 24 Hours
The 46-year-old man, who managed to escape from the Courthouse of Thessaloniki on Thursday 5th of March 2015 by escaping the attention of the police guards, has been arrested.
The fugitive was arrested at dawn in New Epivates, where he is believed to reside. An operation was organised by the police, in which the fugitive’s two guards participated as well.
The 46-year-old man had originally been arrested due to a pending condemnatory decision for one-year imprisonment, which was expected to turn into a financial penalty. His guards had not restrained him with handcuffs because one of his hands was broken.
