The Minister of Justice N. Paraskevopoulos brings radical changes, by announcing beforehand the abolition of the new-founded institution of high security prisons (type C) and the juvenile detention as well, the expansion of the cohabitation agreement to same-sex couples, reinforcement of the anti-racist legislation, thrift in persecutions, smaller sentences, guaranteed arrests, easier access to Justice for the weak, as well as measures of acceleration in the administration of justice and mitigation of congestion in prisons, filling vacancies and employing correctional employees, judges, judicial employees.
