The Decision of the Appellate Court concerning the case of ‘Nefeli’ Hotel has been announced

The Three Member Appellate Court of Thessaloniki has imposed penalties ranging from 18 months to three years and three months imprisonment with suspension of sentence to the three accused of the deaths of two young people due to fumes deriving from the heating system in the luxurious hotel ‘Nefeli’ at Panorama in 2009. More particularly, the hotel owner has been sentenced to three years and three months imprisonment, the installer of the heating system has been also sentenced to three years and three months imprisonment and an actuary has been sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for not having predicted the leak in time.
